Enhanced Performance with Higher Bandwidth
Powered by the 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Codenamed Sapphire Rapids) with max. 60 cores, PCIe Gen5 support and DDR5 memory, these network security appliances can provide increased throughputs, higher memory bandwidth, and faster input/output, for enabling compute-intensive security workloads, such as next generation firewall, deep packet inspection, IPS/IDS, and Content Delivery.
Swappable & Scalable
Lanner network appliances are equipped with 4 or 8 NIC module slots, capable of delivering almost any networking interface and I/O configuration. The purpose-built modular kits developed to optimize for a broad selection of expansion requirement, including the Smart NIC powered by NVIDIA Bluefield, 1~100G copper/fiber interface, NVMe SSD storage, 4K video transcoding and WiFi/LTE connectivity. The lower layer of NCA-6520 NIC modules slots also support hot-swappable PCIe functionality.
Highly Availability and
To ensure the 24/7 non-stop network operation, Lanner network appliances supports high availability design, including hot-swappable cooling fans and redundant power supplies, to ensure a constant flow of cooling and power. These appliance also supports PCIe*16 sockets for a variety of acceleration cards, including GPU, FPGA, RAID and crypto acceleration. These hardware-based acceleration cards offload the high-volume workloads from CPU and improve total application performance.
Built-in Hardware Security
Lanner network appliances feature the integrated Intel QuickAssist technology for accelerating data compression and cryptography workloads, now utilizes 47% fewer cores to achieve the same performance. In addition, Intel Software Guard Extensions (Intel SGX) offer hardware-based memory encryption for isolating specific application code and data in memory. NCA-6520 can support Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0) that provides the integrated cryptographic keys and secure boot to protect the hardware from unauthorized accesses.
